How are popular ideas about archaeological “discoveries” shaped, circulated, and understood? In this seminar, students learn to write in a variety of genres about cultural heritage news and to engage with current topics such as repatriation, international trafficking in antiquities, intangible cultural heritage, and cultural diplomacy.
