This seminar studies the art of storytelling as it is practiced in the academic disciplines of literary criticism, cultural studies, history, anthropology, psychology, and medicine. Students develop individual research projects experimenting with narrative as a stylistic choice, as a vehicle for analysis, and as a method for asking deeper questions.
